The start of our first Alaska land tour will take us from Anchorage to Denali National Park and Preserve and on to Fairbanks.
Anchorage is Alaska's largest city founded in 1915. We had an evening on the town and stayed the night at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel.
The next day we boarded the tour bus and were driven to the town of Talkeena to board the Mckinley Explorer, a train that would take us to the Denali National Park.
