MISSION

Create and Maintain a world class Center for Engineering Excellence that:

Grow and maintain technology leadership in the design, development, and manufacturing of critical subsystems and processes necessary to provide product excellence
Will work to make accessible engineering expertise and resources neccessary to meet program and company opjectives
Will provide assesment and training for mechanical, and systems engineers, designers and technicians

The Engineering Resource Center supports Kodak Business Units by:

Power transmissions
Systems Engineering
Robustness Technology
Math-based Modeling
Design for Manufacturing.
Structural and Media Handling Analysis
Thermal Management
Statistical Tolerance Analysis
Working side by side with project teams to ensure that the knowledge in the above areas of core competencies is applied wisely and effectively during product development.
Managing the placement and reallocation of scarce engineering resources among equipment programs, including the maintenance of a flexible staffing pool, resulting in the best fit of these resources to the current task lists of participating programs.
Assessing the skills and comptencies of mechanical engineers, mechanical product engineers, mechanical manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Providing career guidance and development opportunities to those individuals expressing an interest that extends beyond their current project obligations.
