Closing Interview

• When the inspection is complete, the inspector should discuss the results with a person in authority for the property.
• The purpose of the closing interview is to note good conditions as well as discuss those conditions that need correcting.
• If a reinspection is necessary, the inspector should inform the owner/occupant.
• The reinspection can be scheduled or a time frame given to ensure proper corrections.
• Before leaving, remember to thank management for cooperation and answer any questions.
