General Inspection Methodology and Procedures
Follow-up Inspections/Re-Inspections
- These inspections are made to ensure that the hazards identified in the inspection report have been corrected.
- If the hazards have not been corrected and it is apparent that the owner/occupant is making no effort to correct them, the inspector should issue a final notice with a date for another inspection before instituting legal procedures.
- When the hazards have been corrected or no violations have been identified, a letter should be sent stating the premise is in full compliance at the time of inspection.
