First-hand videos shot by a New York firefighter show the devastation and aftermath of the terroist attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
Career firefighter Kevin McCullagh had retired just week before the attacks, but rushed to the site and started filming snippets, according to Yahoo! News, who published the videos along with McCullagh's story on Friday.
Firefighter McCullagh hadn't looked at the footage for almost 10 years, but last year decided it was important to share the footage during a battle in Congress over health benefits for 9/11 responders.
The first video shows crushed fire trucks, pockets of fire and firefighters working at Ground Zero.

One of the videos shows fire department vehicles destroyed, along with a police car and other cars destroyed and buried in soot and ash.

The third video shows firefighters working hard on the pile as one of them stops to take a breather.
