Divided into 3 classes:  day-care centers, group day-care centers, family day-care Homes.
not subject to requirements of schools.

Determine that door locks and latches can be opened from inside by a child. (Outside of bathroom-staff)

Check for protective covers on electrical receptacles where children under 6 years of age will be playing.

Smoke detectors must be connected to the building fire alarm system unless it is a single room center or all clients are 6 years of age or older and there are no sleeping facilities.
