Water based injection molding
Ceramic material is mixed with polysaccharides to form a feedstock.
This material can then be injected into a mold using traditional plastic injection molding machines and the same types of molds that are used for plastics parts.
If required, parts can be machined in the green form before sintering.
Part debinding ( removal of the binding material ) is not required except for very large parts.
After sintering, if extremely close tolerances are required, diamond tooling or ultrasonic machining will be required.
